JUNE challenge 1 SBC

This weeks challenge was a photographic one for ScrapBook City.

This is an outside the square challenge to help you create a great layout for the "Scrapbook City Photography Award". My challenge is for you to take an interesting people/portrait photo and make it take centre stage on your layout. Tips for the photo: Consider unusual angles/perspectives Try and capture the emotion of your subject/s You don't have to see faces to create an interesting shot Use natural light where you can as flash can be harsh Try and catch the light reflected in your subject/s eyes (catchlights) Make sure there is no distracting background (or foreground) Fill the frame with your subject/s Play with portrait mode (or aperture priority) to blur your background For extra impact consider converting to B&W or sepia or monotone

This Photo is of Abby in the shower, i tried to capture the "wonder" on her face, the water droplets on her body and the stream of water....hope i did O.K.!!!!!
